What is Shellac?
Shellac can best be described as a combination of gel nails and traditional nail polish. It can only be applied by professional salons, and lasts for up to 2 weeks. Unlike nail varnish, it doesn’t chip or wear off.
Shellac is applied in layers and the manicure includes a base and top coat. Each coat is dried under a UV lamp before the next is applied.
Because Shellac dries quickly and easily, you can use your hands normally as soon as you leave the salon, without having to worry about damaging the finish.
